Eduardo I. Boyd

BOYD Eduardo I. Boyd, 69, of Columbus, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at St. Ann's. He was born April 28, 1942 in Panama City, Panama, son of the late Raymond Boyd and Miriam Symes Boyd. In addition to his parents, Eduardo was preceded in death by his wife Bethony R. Splatt Boyd, brothers Humberto and Victor, sister Gladys. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Former Equitable, Macy's and JCPenney employee. Retired in July 2010, after 22 years at the USPS. And he became a U.S. Citizen November 5, 2011. Eduardo is survived by his daughters, Bethony M. and Cherese N. Boyd; son, Eduardo A. Boyd and daughter-in-law, Kelee Parsley Boyd; sisters, Janet and Clarisa; brothers, Samuel, Ramon, and Enrique; sister-in-law, Aurelia Duncan. As well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close family friends. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME NE CHAPEL, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 5 p.m. Graveside service will be Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Grove City Cemetery, 3605 Grove City Rd., Grove City.
