I just happened upoN Gene's Obituary. I'm very sorry for the the loss of this wonderful man and physician.
I first met Gene while singing with the St Thomas More Newman Center's Music Ministry. He was always happy and enjoying life. His friendship was a joy.
When my health became problematic, Gene became my Physician. I had no Insurance, means of payment, yet this didn't matter to Gene. He gave me the same loving, caring treatment as his paying patients. I will never forget how he treated me!
RIP Gene, you were loved and cared for.

Dear lleana,
I only met you once in Chicago when you and gene had lunch together
Gene was my oldest friend I still had contact with. We were band mates at st Edward high school. It was of great sadness I just learned of his passing. He was always a faithful friend. I share your grief. God bless you and his children. Sincerely. John p steichen DDs, ms. [email protected]
