After all these years, I was doing a search for my grandfather and great grandfathers info to see what was there and ran across this. My grandfather was your fathers brother. I remember many family reunions at Great Grandpa Buckners in his side yard. Beth Buckner Belanger. [email protected].

I never meet Mr Buckner but his daughter, Dolly, is my father's part-time caregiver and we adore her. She is a loving and caring person always with a smile on her face and a hug to share. Those are trates that are instilled by loving parents. Mr Buckner and his wife surely must have been wonderful people. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dolly and the whole family during this very sad time and the days and weeks ahead. May God hold you in His armes and comfort you and give you all peace in your hearts.

One memory I have of Deb's dad is that every time I saw him he was smiling. I know there were times when he couldn't hear what I was saying, but he always politely nodded and smiled. His energy and determination to keep going amazed me. It was only "old" people who couldn't climb up on a roof anymore; that certainly didn't pertain to him. There was a lawnmower incident of which I can't recall the details too clearly, but I know it involved Everett riding around on a lawn mower, and I think his arm was in a sling at the time. And as I recall this didn't work out the way Everett had envisioned it. He was a very sweet man and so dear with his grandchildren. I am so sorry for your loss.
