Frank Grebus Obituary

GREBUS Frank J. Grebus, age 87, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on June 15, 2009 at Tuscany Gardens. Frank was born November 23, 1921 to the late Peter and Marcella (Yuszka) Grebus in Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy L. (Kienle) Grebus; children, Gary (Colleen) Grebus, Sherri Kennedy and Karen (Keith) Hauser; grandchildren, Brandon, Garrett and Kylie Hauser, Connor Kennedy; brother, Bernie (Dora Mae) Grebus; sister, Adell Mikalas; sister-in-law, Beatrice Grebus; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his brother Peter Grebus, precedes him in death. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1940. Frank served his country proud in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. He worked most of his adult life and retired as a custom homebuilder. A visitation will be held at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Seton Parish Catholic Church, Pickerington, on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Fr. James A. Klima officiating, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Hospice of Central Ohio.
