Garrett Hudson Obituary
Garrett Harold Hudson, 58, of Columbus, Ohio, was born on July 1, 1962. He departed this life on November 3, 2020. He was the Bursar at Ohio Technical College. Member of Phi Beta Sigma, Epsilon Phi Chapter, Bowling Green State University. Garrett is preceded in death by sibling Melinda A. Hudson, grandparents James and Olive Langhorne and Woodrow and Geneva Hudson, and nephew Jonathan Daniel Anderson. Garrett is survived by his parents, Alice Jackson, Harold (Billie Sue) Hudson; siblings, Dorinda (Kevin) Church, Alyson Hudson, Brandi (Timothy) Turner and Bryce Hudson; daughter, Kecia Henderson; adopted children, Kristina Marcella and Michael Marcella; three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-niece. A virtual memorial service will be held. Date and link to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to: McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home, 14133 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107.

Wow, I’m devastated to learn of his passing. He was so young. I met Garrett while attending BGSU at the Sigma Frat house in the early eighties. Garrett was such a warm, caring and thoughtful person. I remember we went to dinner celebrating our birthdays, which were both in the month of July.
I know he will be missed by many, he was such a tender heart.
I send my sincere condolences to Garrett’s Family, while praying Strength for all of you during this difficult season.

During my college days Garrett was my best friend. We did everything together. Where you saw one, you saw the other. We belonged to the same fraternity and through much of those experiences rarely did we disagree on anything. We continued to maintain a modest friendship over the years. My heart is broken today to learn of his loss. Sadly, he is now gone but with me he remains never forgotten. I love you bro.

Garrett will be missed but not forgot. I will miss his smile , his affection that he was not afraid to show and his love for family. We all grow up and move away from family but we never stop loving no matter how far away we may be. Lots of love Garrett, you are in the hands of the Lord. You are safe. Uncle Woody.
