George F. Faryman, 78, born September 25, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Leo and Margaret (Barkey) Faryman, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded b y family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, on Thursday, June 7, 2018. George married his best friend, Carolyn (Nowell) Faryman, on November 16, 1974. He was preceded in death by brothers Thomas E., Richard, and James and sister Shirley. He is survived by wife, Carolyn; daughter, Betty (Randy) Faryman; son, Gary (Darlene) Faryman; daughter, Shelley (Jim) Kneece; son, Kevin (Cristin) Bryant, Shane Faryman and daughter, Tammi (Donovan) Tullos; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tabitha, Ethan, Zach, Emma, Jess; great grandchildren Aubrey, Annabelle and JonJon; brothers, Robert (Jean) Faryman, Donald (Betsy) Faryman; and brother-in-law, Myron Hill; many nieces, nephews friends, golfing buddies and union brothers and sisters. George retired from General Motors after 35 years and was a life-long member of UAW Local 969. He loved gardening and took pride in caring for his home and family. He was passionate about bowling, fishing and golf. He will be missed by many.
