I knew Helena when she worked at OSU, before she became a registered nurse. She was a wonderful friend and I will always remember her smile and laugh. It's been many years (over forty) but her kindness and compassion were always a part of her personality. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family in this time of loss.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Helena had an infectious smile and warmth about her that glowed anytime you were around her. She was an exceptional nurse and I am grateful for the times that I not only had to work with her, but to have her at my bedside. A true angel of mercy on earth and now one at Our Lord's table. May your wonderful memories comfort you in your sorrow. God bless, Dee XXOO

Farewell our precious friend and sister in Christ. We pray frequently for your family for we know how very much they miss you. We too miss you and cherish the memories of our many fun trips together while here on earth.

But we'll meet again on the other side and we'll walk around Heaven, touring the Beautiful City. Then we will experience the greatest event of all, we'll see our Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face! Oh won't that be grand?!!

We'll see ya!!
