Mrs. Rogers, I will never forget your husband and you as my pastors at Rainbow Avenue Church of the Nazarene. When I worked at headquarters and looked for a church to attend, I knew I was "home" the Sunday my roommate Donna and I found your church. Your husband gave Jim and me premarital counseling when Jim came out for a visit before our wedding, and the church ladies showered love and gifts on me at my bridal shower. (I also enjoyed carpooling to work with you.) I will forever be grateful for your husband's preaching and your joint ministry to me. My last Sunday in K. C. was the day of the Nall Avenue church inauguration.
Such memories! May God grant you the comfort that only He is able to give, and may Jesus fill your heart with the reality and joy of the Hope of Glory.

To Charlotte and family: We are so saddened about the passing of our dear and wonderful pastor. He was always a blessing and was so compassionate and caring. We have so many wonderful memories of him which I am sure you all will cherish. So many quotes we remember from his messages. He will be greatly missed.
