I just happened upon this obituary by chance, but I remember Hilda, when we would visit Aunt Ethel & Uncle Homer (Braithwaite) in the summer, and visit with your family. My Dad, Russell Patterson died many years ago, but my mother is almost 92, just recently living in extended care.
You may not remember us, but those times in "West Jeff" are among my favorite childhood memories. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother.

What great memories she left us! Her home was always warm with her love. Memories of the Aunt Hilda, the kids and Uncle Ray making us feel welcome. Hockenbery Christmas' and don't forget the graham crackers with homemade icing in the middle...mmmm!

Such wonderful memories of Aunt Hilda will always be with me, but now she's joined Uncle Ray and they are at peace in each other's arms. There is love and support from your extended family and we'll always remember the fun times we all had together at our family gatherings. Aunt Hilda's smile will be with me always. Love, Bev
