Jackie Browning Obituary
Jackie Rogers Browning, 99, a beloved lady of faith and grace, passed peacefully at her home in Worthington, Ohio, on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born in Decatur, Texas on July 14, 1921. She always said she was blessed to have had two wonderful marriages, and she is preceded in death by husbands Paul Rogers Jr. (1974) and Robert L. Browning (2008), parents Luther and Ollie Mae Belew, sisters Estelle (Alvin) Alland and Emma Dean (Rex) Baggett, brothers Charlie (Fern) Belew, James (Ginny) Sensibaugh, and son-in-law Bill Johnston. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Johnston and Robin (Bruce) Criel; son, Paul (Andrea) Rogers III; stepsons, Greg (Lynne) Browning, David (Mary Beth) Browning, and Peter (Carol) Browning; stepdaughter, Lisa (Mike) McCoy; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jackie loved music and dancing and attended line-dancing weekly until March 2020. She enjoyed sitting in her family room listening to favorites Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. She was active in many organizations in the Worthington community after moving there in 1958. She was a 62-year member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington and served as its first female Senior Warden. She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman who loved well, laughed often and welcomed all into her home and life. When it is safe to do so, we will gather to celebrate her life. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington.

Megan, I'm so sorry to read about your grandmother's passing. I enjoyed my visits with her during quarantine when she was learning to Facetime on her new phone. She was a lovely woman.
