James Edwin Bean

BEAN James Edwin Bean, 77, passed away January 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Hazel (Daft) Bean. James is survived by his wife, Elaine (Swank) Bean; children, Sandra (Thomas) Bohl and Jeffrey (Toni) Bean; siblings, Francis McCoye, Harold (Carolyn) Bean, Ronnie (Carolyn) Bean, Sharon (Larry) Bowe and Paul (Kathy) Bean; grandchildren, Gretchen (Todd) Broecker, Katie (Martin) Spang, Jeremy (Melissa) Bean and Josh (Kelsey) Bohl; and three great-grandchildren. James was a graduate of Nelsonville High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a general contractor in the Columbus area and a member of Christian Center Church in Gahanna. Visitation Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Christian Center Church, 298 Rocky Fork Dr. South, Gahanna, OH 43230.
