Dad, Our time together meant so much. I always see your smile looking at me saying be quite just listen to the birds with me. And listening to your stories of when you were little. I raced each day to be with you and now I hold fast to that smile, and those conversations. I love you, Lue

Dad, I am so sorry I wasn't there. I thought about you every day and what I could do to help you and watch out for you. I thought you would just be in the hospital for a while and was already looking at the options for when you got out. You always came home, I just never dreamed this time you wouldn't. I understand you were tired, you had enough. I hurt when you hurt. Now you can't be hurt anymore, help my heart to heal because it is broken. I love you so much, eilish
