It's been almost five years now since you returned to Heaven, Jim. I just wanted to check in to let you know that your Ford dealership, Buckeye Ford, is still a most special place and that your memory is strong there. A special peace pervades the place, and your name often comes up in conversations - always with kindness and love! You may have thought that I'd always have the 1998 Ford Ranger XLT, but time and the ravages of Ohio winters meant that the almost quarter-century with that special truck were coming to a close. I hope you're glad that my new blue ride, a 2022 Ford Maverick hybrid, is my truck now! With almost 20,000 miles on it and a cattle dog boy (Tecumseh is this one's name!) "riding shotgun," life is still humming along. Thank you so much for being a bright and shining star in so many lives and for the kindness you always extended!

Jim, after having the faithful and dependable 1998 Ford Ranger XLT in Atlantic Blue for more than 24 years, a new Buckeye Ford, Ford truck has arrived: A 2022 Ford Maverick XL Hybrid in Velocity Blue! I love it and so does my precious cattle dog boy, Lil Prince! I'm already getting spoiled by its often over 40 mpg, its very similar blue color, its four-door, very stylish and form-to-function looks. I wouldn't have bought it from anyone else but Buckeye Ford! Thank you for making your London, Ohio, Ford dealership such a fantastic place! My longevity as a very happy customer is due in no small part to your presence; this is my tribute to you!

Aw, Jim! I just learned today (November 17, 2020) that you returned to Heaven in February 2020. How happy God must be, along with your loved ones that went on before, to have you Home again! Those of us that were blessed to know you, are the richer in our lives to have known you! I was a customer of your Buckeye Ford from 1985 and am still a happy customer. Thank you for being such a kind person; Jan must surely miss you greatly!

I learned of Jim's passing yesterday. A great wave of sadness came over me. I worked for Jim in the beginning phases of Buckeye Ford. Actually it turned into 14 years. Jim became a good friend, a mentor, a golf and drinking buddy, and so much more. Jim had wonderful judgement in difficult matters. His kind and humble spirit was evident in his daily handling of most everything. I will never forget Jim's great laugh, and his concern for me during a couple difficult periods. Thanks for everything Jim, and may you rest in peace.

Jim is a great cousin, with a fatherly/brotherly kindness about him. I will miss him as a fellow Iowan, Cyclone, Greek member, 4-Her, and Hunt family leader.
