Clif is survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie M Spruill; and his five children, Cliff Spruill, Jr. (Stephanie), Tina Lee (Eddie), Tiffeney Dilger (Mike), Heidi Short-Horne (Rob), Brandy Abrams; and his grandchildren, Josh (Charity), Jacob, Brody, Parker, Byron, Drew, Erin, Hunter, Leo; and great-granddaughter, Petra; brother, Johnny B. (Evelyn) Spruill; sisters, Patty (Chuck) Bagwell, Lois (Dennis) Kolb; nieces, Alena (Dino) Nobilucci, Jenny (James) Brown and Tracie (Heath) Mason; and nephews, Charlie (Jessica) Bagwell, Todd (Kamila) Bagwell; and many more loved ones unmentioned. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Byron A., Larry W. Spruill. Clif was a Veteran of The US Navy-Seabees serving from 1961–1965 as well as a retired master mechanic and service manager of Cal's Wyandotte Shell in Whitehall, Ohio after 30 years of serving the public. Clif was our Superhero and MacGyver, and an enthusiast of gardening. He was frequently seen driving his Orange-Red 1955 Chevy Bel Air throughout Canal Winchester with his dog, Stella, propagating his infectious smile to all he encountered. Clif was a devoted husband, heroic father and grandad, and genuine friend to those who knew him. A Celebration of Life Memorial to remember Clif will be held on Friday, May 14 from 4-8pm, Dayspring Community Church, 3919 Brice Rd., Canal Winchester, OH. All are welcome. The family asks that, in leu of flowers, that donations be made on Clif's behalf to the Leukemia Research Foundation @ allbloodcancers.org

Cliff was my neighbor and friend for 17 years. He was a man who was selfless and always positive and willing to help anyone in need. He was a proud Navy veteran. He loved his family and being with friends. There was nothing he couldn't fix. I am honored to have known him as my friend. I look forward to seeing him in heaven again as I know that is where he resides now. God bless his family. Dolores, Corey and I will miss him.

Sean and I want to tell you we're thinking of you and sending love. Clif was such a fun person to be around. In fact, I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. Whether he was showing his car or just shooting the breeze, he made everyone around him feel more "tuned in" and "in the moment". I recall when my youngest son graduated and I brought him to Stradley Pavilion to play the school fight song...Clif was there, having just been to the Wigwam. He stood with us and cheered just as loudly. He truly was a treasure, and he will be greatly missed.
