James Upperman

Upperman James Upperman, age 71, found peace on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born October 25, 1944 in Columbus, OH to the late Lawrence and Wilda Upperman. He was a man who loved to create. He enjoyed wood carving, working with stained glass, and many other forms of art; he also loved theater and composing his own music. Also preceded in death by brother Bill. Survived by wife of 45 years, Diane; children, Chris (Tiffany) Upperman and Emily (Jeff) Junker; grandchildren, Allen, Dominic, Spencer, Caleb, and Evelyn; siblings, Don (Mary) Upperman and Diane (Don) Lawson; sister-in-law, Anna Upperman; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Friends may call Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH.
