Jamie Llacuna, age 37, of Columbus, OH, entered the presence of the Lord on August 8, 2017 at The Kobacher House after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Francis Domingo Llacuna III. Jamie was born in Columbus, OH on February 13, 1980. She was the dearly loved daughter of Philip and Marsha Runk. While undergoing chemotherapy she graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Franklin University. Besides her husband and parents, Jamie is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Amanda Runk and their children, Warren, Charlotte, and Quinn. Jamie was dearly loved by her brothers and sisters in Christ in her Xenos Home Church. She also will be greatly missed by her line dancing friends, friends at the river, and her old buddies from Jamboree in the Hills. Jamie will be best remembered for her keen wit, her willingness to love and serve people and her devotion to Christ. At the family's request, the funeral and burial will be a private event. A memorial celebration will be held at Xenos Christian Fellowship, 4th Street Pavilion, 1934 N. 4th Street, Columbus, OH 43201 on August 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. Attire casual. Dear Llacuna Family,
We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Along. We are The Compassionate Friends.

Jamie- We all had such a great trip at Holden Beach all those years ago. I always have great memories of you. You are so loved!! You're with God, and I'm so glad you get to be there, but we'll miss you so much. We'll all hang out again together in the next life!!
