Trimmer Jamie Donald Trimmer, age 53, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Jamie was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 21, 1962 to Jack C. and Marcella (Taylor) Trimmer. Jamie graduated from Westland High School. He was a District Sales Manager for Exide Technologies. Jamie won many awards for his outstanding sales achievements. Jamie loved the outdoors and could be found golfing, swimming, fishing, and hunting. He was very involved with his sons and helped coach their sports teams. Preceded in death by his father Jack C. Trimmer. Survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Justin and Jared; mother, Marcella Trimmer; brother, Jeffrey (Stacey) Trimmer; many other relatives including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends. Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, where funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association. Jaime lived across the street from me growing up on Hague Avenue. I was the only girl on the street, so ï played with the Johnson, the Trimmers, and the Stantons. Jamie (aka Snake) Jeff, and I waited for the bus at his driveway. He was on his CB in communication with the bus driver, so he knew when to walk out to the busstop. I miss you Jamie. Your life was too short. Love to Carol, Marcella, Jeff and the boys. RIP Snake

I never met Jamie in person, but I talked to him regularly at Exide. He had that distinct deep voice and I knew it was him as soon as he spoke. Jamie was always friendly and a pleasure to work with. His co-workers thought very highly of him. This is just so sad. My condolences to the family.

Dear Trimmer Family, The Hague Avenue neighborhood has lost a dear friend. I remember playing the three sports.with Jamie, football at the Trimmer's. Basketball at the Murphy's, Baseball at the Dipolito's. Even Hockey on the frozen creek!
