Jeannie E. Wolfendale

Wolfendale Jeannie E. Wolfendale, 59, of Orchard Island, Lakeview, OH, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, at her home following a lengthy illness. Jeannie was born on July 25, 1957 in Columbus, OH to the late Joseph and Ruth Pines George. She married Tom Wolfendale on July 23, 1994 in Columbus and he survives along with three children, Jeffrey (Erin) Albert of Denver, CO, Anne Albert of Columbus, and Paul Albert of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Parker and Caroline; five siblings, Joe (Patty) George, Jr, Julie (Tony) Arena, Mary Jo (Mark) Saxton, Rick (Theresa) George and William (Dawn) Geroge, all of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. Jeannie was a 1975 graduate of Bishop Ready High School. She retired from Diocesan Publications in Dublin, OH after 35 years. She enjoyed boating, traveling to Florida, and walking her Bassett Hound, Frederick. She loved family gatherings and talking on the phone with her children and visits with her grandchildren. A celebration of Jeannie's life will be held at a later date. Her family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of St. Rita's Hospice for their care.
