I was so sad to hear of Joel's passing. I remember him very well from many years ago when he was an outstanding student and athlete at the Columbus Academy. He was always a true gentleman, soft-spoken and kind, and a friend to all. The world is surely a lesser place without him. My deepest condolences to all of the Chesters.
Sincerely,

Cecily, Brett and Family, I'm still in disbelief over Joel's passing. Although I only had a few opportunities to be with Joel, I knew immediately he was the kind of guy I would like to get to know better. His passion for boating and generous spirit, I will always remember. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Keep the faith. Love, Diane Patrick

Dear Cecily & Brett, John & Judy:
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Joel's death. What a loss. I have known Joel since high school and worked with him while he was at CASTO. He was my partner for several CASTO sponsored fitness & weight loss competitions, and although we never won anything, we had fun together at the gym! He was always such a kind and warm person, he reminded me of a big teddy bear. He will be sorely missed. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
