John Michael Bobbitt, age 63, of Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Canal Winchester, OH, passed away on December 19, 2017. He was born October 29, 1954 in Columbus, OH. John was a graduate of Bloom-Carroll High School and Ohio University. He retired from B.F. Goodrich as a Quality Engineer. John is survived by his mother, Norma Bobbitt; sisters, Linda (Jeff) Kaiser and Carol Bobbitt; former spouse, Mary Bobbitt; 3 nieces, 1 nephew; Aunt Charlotte Wucher; Uncle Bob (Mona) Bobbitt; several cousins; and fiancée, Elaine Firestone. John was preceded in death by his father John H. Bobbitt. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 28 Elm Street, Canal Winchester, OH 43110.

As your partner of 11 years I would like to tell you John (Bubby, Bobby, Sweetie) that I miss you more than describable. Misty and I see you and talk to you every day. Our hearts have been broken and we are very sad. However, we know you are watching over us and helping us through each day. You were the most important person in my life. Losing you at 63 was too young and we were cut short of many years of marriage. I will cherish my beautiful engagement diamond forever. You showed me and taught me so many important aspects about life. I appreciate you so very much. Our friends also speak highly of you and always will. Sorry to hear of John's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
