I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing.. I always enjoyed my encounters with him. We had special nick names for each other..

Once in the hallway I was escorting a group of visitors and Jack came through the door unaware that I had guests. He addressed me as "bushel butt" before he saw the Chief Engineer and the Vice Pres.. Great fun...

We will miss him.

Barbara, Beth and Scott;

We have all lost a very special friend. Jack was a most unique person and I count him (and you) among a very select group of close and loyal friends. He was a complete professional, among professionals, in a very select and demanding profession. His work and the team guided by him have left a legacy that probably will not be surpassed. I know that you are very proud of his accomplishments. Please accept my condolences and deepest sympathy in your loss.
