I worked with John at Culligan for a number of years and he is such a nice and caring person. He talked about his family a lot and loved all of you so much. It is a terrible loss and you have my deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Carol; There are no words to express my sadness for you and the kids. John was bigger than life, itself. You two started life as child bride and groom. The two of you worked tirelessly side-by-side thru life. Such and inspiration to so many! I love you Carol and miss you terribly. Call me anytime: 386-854-1320.

I am a friend and colleague of John's brother Don; for whom I have a growing respect and affection as a professional and as a man. I extend my condolences to Don and to everyone in the bereaved family. No-one should lose a husband, father, grandfather or brother this way in what must have been still the prime of his life. I never met John; but knowing Don as I do, I know John's passing has been a great loss. ...Yours in sadness and sincerity, Rob Hawkings
