John J. Mast, 73, of London, OH, received his wings unexpectedly on Monday, January 14, 2019 as his family surrounded him with great love. Born on August 25, 1945 in Delaware, OH to late John A. and Sarah (Farmwald) Mast. A loving husband, of 54 years, to his wife, Janet (Hockenbery) Mast. A wonderful father to his 3 children, Lori (Steve) Denes, Julie (Brad) Treliving and Brian (Darcey) Mast. Most importantly he was the best Gramps ever to his 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Lindsey, Mitchell and Sarah Denes, Ryann and Reese Treliving, Kayle and Bradan Mast, who loved him with all their hearts and whom he loved with all of his. He was a friend, of few words, to so many in the community. A lifelong farmer, caring for the land as only he could. Visitation will take place Friday, January 18 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Ferguson Funeral Home in Plain City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19 at Sharon Mennonite Church at 10 am. Final resting place in Fairfield Township Cemetery. Visit fergusonfuneralhomeinc.com to share a special memory.
