I didn't know John personally, but lived in a neighborhood near Whetstone Park for almost 10 years and spent many evenings in the park with my dog and later my son. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him play his bag pipes on summer evenings and missed the music when it was gone. I wish I'd expressed my gratitude when he was alive (I hated to interrupt him!). I didn't find out why he stopped until recently. My prayers and sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

My heart is so heavy... No words can express what a wonderful person John was. I only worked with him for a short time at Kohl's and have nothing but fond memories. Lots of love goes out to his family and friends.
