Kendall and Family,
I am saddened at the loss of such a beautiful person--Sister Johnnie--as I called her. I will miss her physical presence at bible study and Family Matters class. She taught me that no matter what is going on in your life, to keep the faith and keep going. I hope and pray that God gives you strength and peace in your time of sorrow.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Cousin Johnnie. She was always kind and enjoyed being around family. One of my fondest memories of her was the summer of 1984; I was 16 years old and a summer intern at OSU hospital. She literally took me under her wing and showed me the ropes. That experience changed my outlook in all facets of my life and showed me that I could achieve anything I put my mind to.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of your Mother. I haven't seen Johnnie in years, but know that she was a beautiful person through and through. May God give you the strength to carry on her love and warmth.

Ms. Johnnie Mae, you will be missed each first Sunday at the Family Matter gathering of the Tabernacle Baptist Church by each member and myself. Thru your illness you remained an activity member of our church and this ministry. This morning I had no one to serve warm water to take her pills ---I missed your smile and helping hands with the early morning breakfast setup for our Tabernacle family.
