I remember Joe from Clinton Jr High. Always thought he was so cute and shy. May you be in God's peace now.

I have known Joe for 20 years. We shared the same birthday (not the same year as I gently reminded him each year). I was shocked and saddened to stumble upon his obituary. I will miss our many talks, often his Father's war stories, his college years, his support of Akron's Homecoming games every year, his love for his family and his BBQ meals. You will forever be in my heart.

Biff, family and friends
I am shocked and saddened greatly by Joe's passing, I didn't hear about it until yesterday afternoon or I would have come down. Joe was a great guy, a real friend during our growing up years. He and I sat down with your Mom at the house after your Dad's service and talked about how lucky we all were to have come together in Forest Park. I'll have always remember Joe on the baseball field where he loved to be, the battery of Joe and Bob Lee were like superstars to me!! God sure works in mysterious ways, but I'm picturing Joe with Bill and Gloria right now reminiscing in heaven, maybe having a drink with my Dad, maybe the Sahr's and others.
Take care Biff!
