I am so sad to have learned that Joseph lost his battle with the monster cancer
Everywhere there was a pro life rally, I would see Joseph, what a blessing, what a man and what a great soul. I am so very sorry for your loss and the Pro life community's loss...

Joe was a talented, thoughtful and humble friend to our family. Over the years we had the good fortune to break bread and socialize with Joe. His presence always lifted our spirits. We are blessed to have known him.

I met Joe Dury one time at the hospital and one time working with the Eucharistic Miracles display. It only took those two occurences to know that he was a humble servant of Christ and a devoted Catholic.
Prayers and condolences for him and his family.

Joe's family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss his great smile and his kind manner. Joe was truly a humble instrument of God's love. He painted for us once, and after the job was complete, I missed our conversations. God Bless you, sweet Joe Dury. "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

"The Strife is O'er, the Battle Won - Now Has the VICTORY begun." My deepest sympathy to you Ellen, and to Father Dan and his siblings (especially precious new mother Theresa!) Heaven is richer and the Choirs of Angels and all the saints are rejoicing. I can just see the heavenly embrace given to our gentle, quiet, loving Joe: "Well done, good and faithful servant - to such as you belongs the Kingdom of Heaven." In faith we remember that the Lord will turn our mourning into dancing and one day we will join Joe in the Heavenly Kingdom where there will be no more wailing or gnashing of teeth. Rest in peace, Precious Child of God. My life is richer because you were part of it.
