Judith Ann Klaus

KLAUS Judith Ann Klaus "Judy", age 63, of Grove City, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2006. Judy was born November 22, 1942 in Cincinnati to Mary (Sullivan) Budde and the late Louis Budde. She spent her early years there and graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor's degree in education. It was there in Cincinnati that she met and married her husband Bernard F. Klaus "Bernie" on July 2, 1966. Judy and Bernie moved to Chicago and then Freeport, IL where she taught 3rd grade for many years at St. Joseph School. Because Judy had a passion for Catholic education, she was active in her own parish programs, at St. Thomas, teaching in the CCD and RCIA programs. Judy was currently a parishioner of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church in Grove City, OH. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother David Budde and his wife Julie. Judy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that include her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Bernard F, Klaus; her children, Stephen Klaus, Teresa Ann (Mark) Wells, Elizabeth Ann (Kyle) Koppenhoefer, and Paul (Chalaine) Klaus; her mother, Mary Budde; grandchildren, Jeff, Megan, Jordan, Owen, Addison (twins) and Anne and Paul (twins); brothers, Donald (Nancy) and Rick (Colleen) Budde; and sister,, Mary Lou (Pat) Hassett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2832 Rosebud Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45238. Rev. Fr. David Sunberg, Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Old St. Joseph Cemetery, 4500 Foley Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45238.
