Judy Markusic Obituary
Judy Markusic, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy was a dedicated nurse who spent her career serving the community. She retired as VP of Organizational Development from Home Care Network. Judy had a deep love for animals.
She was married for 61 years to her high school sweetheart, Don Markusic. Their love began as neighbors and grew into a lifetime of partnership filled with laughter, tradition, Italian gusto, and unforgettable meals.
Judy lived for her family. She was known for her dynamic style, commanding presence, and incredible cooking. She lit up every room and loved having her family near.
Her greatest joy was her 7 grandchildren and she would go to the ends of the earth for them. They carry her legacy through their compassion, creativity, and drive.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Don Markusic; and 3 daughters Kim (Andy), Corey (Todd), Chrissy (Darrick), and 7 grandchildren Kayli, Ashley, Jersey, Sarah, Cole, Lolo, and Blake. And her 2 beloved dogs Joey & Bocci. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends.
Judy will be missed deeply, but her spirit lives on in every family gathering, every bold outfit, and every act of love.

I´m so sad to hear this news. You are just never ready for it. I have wonderful memories of judi. She was a forced to be reckoned with. She also had such a soft and caring side. You couldn´t help but love her. She was very good to me as a kid. I´m glad we stayed in touch all these years. Don, Kimmy, Corey, and Chrissy, my deepest condolences to you all. I´ll never forget her. I loved her very much.

We knew Judy from Kim and Andy. Kim and Andy were our next door neighbors and best friends. Judy was so incredibly nice to Clint and I and our two boys. She was always dressed impeccably for every occasion. Judy will be in our memories forever. We wish we could be there for you Kim and Andy. You were always there for us. My sweet Grammy was so much more than a nurse- she had a soft spot for animals, a love for her family, and the best red nail polish around. Heaven gained one of its brightest. She taught me what it means to work hard, care deeply, and always make time for Law & Order SVU episodes. Her laugh brightened the entire room and her sauce filled our bellies. I see her in every patient I care for, every pizza I make, and every dog I cuddle. Grammy will always be with me. I love and miss Grammy so much.

I met Judy and Don when our daughters Kim and Kathi went to Richmond Hts together and played softball in the summer. When they moved to Columbus we would go a couple times a year to spend the weekend with them! Of course Judy was a great hostess and we never wanted to leave! I write this with a heavy heart not getting to say goodbye to her but I know that she knew we loved her! She will be missed by Many! Our love to Don and the family.

Dear Don and family, I know a beautiful angel has entered Heaven today. I am so sad for all of you. Judy was an amazing woman. I loved her love for family and extended family.
