John and I were so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. We have many good memories of being her next-door-neighbor for many years in Clintonville. We were out of town, so we were not able to stop by the funeral home and give you our condolences in person, but we wanted you to know that you were in our thoughts and prayers.
Warmest regards,
John and Carol

I am so terribly sad to hear of Karen's passing. I didn't know her well, but I felt forever connected to her because of how she helped Verania (Hammond). She was a beatiful person. I will have Karen and her family in my prayers.

I was shocked to learn of this tragedy. It has been sometime since I last saw Karen but I will remember her as an honest, loyal friend and neighbor.

Dear Jeff and other loved ones of Karen,
I lived next door to your mother and father on Acton Road when you were just a little tyke (August 1977 - Spring of 1979). You and my daughter, Ryann Ignelzi, were close in age and regular playmates. I remember your mother's laugh, her glorious red hair and how very much she loved you. I also remember the time she went to a bank-sponsored skating party and found herself in the unique position of being a medical rarity: the doctor told her he had never seen two elbows with identical fractures! What a time that was! You were tiny and she had both of her arms in casts up past her elbows and could do little more than smile at you and wait until someone place you in her lap! She was such a good sport about the whole mess and we often laughed about all the things she had to learn how to ask for help with!
I ache with the sorrow of her untimely death and pray that your memories of her love and kindness will be with you for all times.

We are the mother and sister of Keith Meadows who was a very close and dear friend of Karen's. We have known Karen for several years and will greatly miss her. We moved from Columbus and everytime that we talked to Keith we always asked about Karen and how she was doing.

To Karen's Family-We want you to know how sorry we are for your loss. We spent many hours with Karen-being neigbors in Columbus and also Indian Lake. To all of Karen's family and many friends please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am completely devastated having lost my best childhood friend. We shared so many wonderful happy times growing up together in Columbus. I moved to Dallas 35 years ago but we still managed to stay in touch....I just received an e-mail from her a few days ago in fact... thank goodness for that last communication. My thoughts are with each of you at this sad time.
