To the Clapp Family,
My heart is deeply saddened for the loss of Kent. Kent was a very special President and CEO of Medical Mutual. As a 30 year employee who have seen alot of changes here, Kent made this company a wonderful and secure place to work. He was a very personable man, whom I had the pleasure of working for. He was not only personable, but, humble, trustworthy and strong towards the comitment of his employees/community. I was lucky enough to take a picture with Kent at our service awards dinner a few weeks, in which, it will be a picture I cherish forever. He will be missed and loved forever by all who came into contact with him. His smile will be one that will never be forgotten. Cherish his memory and know that God has another good angel in Heaven. God is good all the time! Keep the Faith!!

I have been at Medical Mutual for 5 years, and in those 5 years I have seen the company grow and that is because of Kent Clapp. When he came to the Toledo office he always had a smile on his face and was always there to answer any question that we had. He treated us as if we were all in the same position as he was. He will be dearly missed by his MMO family. God Bless

As a retiree from Medical Mutual, I worked for the company for 18 years and knew Kent when he worked in Toledo in the 1980's. He was always a "down to earth" person who really cared about the employees. This is truely a great loss for the Clapp family, Medical Mutual and the community. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to the Clapp family. I currently reside in Atlanta, GA and originally from Cleveland, OH. I was employed at MMO for 5 years and during those years Kent was the chairman and CEO, he was a really gentle and soft spoken CEO and he made people feel proud to be apart of Medical Mutual. I am devasted that he died so tragically. I hope that GOD continue to keep his family during this grieving time.

It was a pleasure to work under Kent Clapp. I felt secure and privilege to be part of a company Kent was orchestrating. I will always remember Kent because he always had a smile and a hello for you. He made you fell as important as he was. Kent had a large heart by the way he had treated his employees and the actions you have read about him through his life time. Kent was one who knew what the golden rule was, and lived by it. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family. God bless you.

Many years ago, I had a real issue with BC. I wrote Mr. Clapp because I was not getting any results with anyone else. Within 2 weeks of my letter, I received one telling me that the issue had been solved. I remember thinking how good it was to be able to to the "top". I was always grateful for his help. I am sorry that the world has lost such a special person. My thoughts to his family. Sincerely, Ty

I have been at Medical Mutual for six years, and of all the CEOs l have known, he was one that was personable, kind and encouraging. We are a better Company because Kent Clapp was our CEO. He has put Medical Mutual on the map as a business to be proud of. There have been many changes under his leadership that have led other businesses to strive for excellence. Kent Clapp was a model leader and will be missed greatly. Yes our hearts are heavy, but I count it an honor to have ever met and been under such a man of integrity. He was always thinking of ways to help us as employees, the neighborhood, even reaching into other states. My prayers are with his family.
