After graduation in New York he worked as a fashion designer for the House of Joan Sibley LTD. During his time there he proudly designed dresses for Mrs Gerald Ford, Gladys Knight and numerous other celebrities. His designs were featured in numerous fashion magazines and advertisements including Vogue and McCalls. Upon leaving New York he chose to come back to Bowling Green, Ohio and opened a couture Bridal Boutique and worked for the Bowling Green State University Theater department as a costumer. While attending the University of California at Pennsylvania he also worked in the theater department as a costumer. I am so sorry to hear of Kevin's departure from this world. In school, Kevin was one of my best friends. He had so much talent and energy and I am not surprised that he accomplished so much in his life. After all of these years, I can still hear that wonderful laugh of his.

I hold such fond memories of Kevin and all that he shared with me during my time with him at BGSU. I, like so many others, was immediately welcomed by him as a newbie and instantly felt proud to call him friend. I loved his sharp wit and sense of beauty and even more his tender heart. His passing from this place leaves an empty spot, but anyone who has known Kevin will surely carry him forever in their hearts...much love, Kim Sergent-Kohlsmith, BGSU 1989

Kevin will always be one of my most fond memories of my time as an undergrad at BGSU. He taught all of us actors to respect the work of a costume designer and to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into every detail of costume design. I still have a full length coat (made entirely out of old jeans) that Kevin lovingly helped me to construct on my own in his private costume shop that he had off-campus. He had worked at a boutique in Toledo where they carried coats like that at the time, but they were too expensive for me to purchase. He told me that if I committed to making one for myself, he'd guide me from start to finish. And he did. He was so genuine, so gifted, so loving, kind and had a wicked sense of humor. I loved and adore him, like so many others... xoxo Michael L. Taylor, BGSU 1989 (aka Michael Taylor Gray)
