Lee E. Lydic

Lydic Lee E. Lydic, age 58, of Delaware, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Kobacker House with his wife by his side. To Lee, everyone was special, but truly he was the special one, in fact one of a kind. He brought out the best in everyone, never a stranger known; he was a friend and mentor to all. For the past 14 years he has been the National Fleet Development manager with Truck-Lite. Member St. Mary Catholic Church, Loyal Order of Moose, Worthington Lodge #1427, 32nd degree Mason and member of Argus Lodge #545 of Canfield. Survived by his wife, Ann Marie Zarella Lydic; brother, Warren (Patty) Lydic of Youngstown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Michael (Wendy) Zarella, Beth (Van) Johnson; nieces and nephews, including Dante, Joshua, Sofi, Mia, Niki Zarella, Evan and Brett Johnson, Sarah and Emily Burns; as well as the best neighbors anyone can have and a host of friends nation-wide. Sunnie, his beloved sun conure, will miss Lee terribly as they were inseparable. Friends may call 5-8 p.m.Friday, with 5 p.m. prayer service and 8 p.m. Masonic service at the SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware. At the close of calling hours and as Lee would want a final toast will be shared in celebration of his life. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joan of Arc, 10700 Liberty Rd., Powell, Ohio 43065. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Kobacker House, or Special Olympics Ohio.
