Linda Carter Perry Sackerman died on July 12, 2017 at the age of 74 in Springfield, Virginia. She was born in Marietta, Georgia on September 16, 1942 and was the daughter of Oliver Parker Perry and Christine (Honey) Carter Perry of Hartwell, Georgia. She was a very proud "Daughter of the American Revolution". Linda's #1 "profession" was raising her two children and being 100% present for her family. She also found time to work professionally for 25 years as a Medical Records Professional in one of Atlanta's larges hospitals, and recently retired in 2015 from the Forum at Knightsbridge Senior Living Center in Columbus, OH after 17 years of service. Linda seamlessly moved her family to 7 states and Mexico, ending up in Columbus, OH for 25 years and then Virginia with her Son and Grandson in her last year. Linda was passionate about plants and animals (especially dogs and lamas) and was an avid Buckeyes fan. Linda will be buried beside her husband of 49 years, Robert Allan Sackerman (Bobby), at Resurrection Cemetery on Saturday, July 22, 2017 @10:30am in Lewis Center, Ohio, located at 9571 North High Street, Route 23 North, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. Linda is survived by: Inga Kristina Sackerman Klein (daughter in CA), Kurt Allan Sackerman (son in VA) and wife Valeria Sackerman, Ivan Robert Sackerman (grandson in VA), Martha Perry Richardson (sister in Elberton, GA) and husband Larry Richardson, Lara Gaines (niece) & Kevin Richardson (nephew) also in GA.
