Lucille Mitchell Obituary

MITCHELL Lucille Mitchell (Dotson). Born October 25, 1919 in Columbus, Mississippi to Ollie Mae Price and Bishop Willie Dotson, went peacefully home on February 23, 2010, at her own home. Survived by four children, Alphonso (Charlene) Jordan, Meredith N. (Gerald) Taylor, Michael Mitchell, and Frederick Mitchell; grandchildren, Deborah (Carl) Medley, Leslie (Tony) Joiner, Alphonso Flournoy, Gerald L. (Cheri) Taylor Jr., Shalen Mayo; and several great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband James P. Mitchell, daughter Muriel Jordan, son James W. (Jimmy) Mitchell. Mom was a long-time member of Victorious Redeemer Full Gospel Church, 1403 E. Main St., where the service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, family receiving friends at 12Noon. Pastor Hunter will preside over the going home service. Flowers sent before 10:30 a.m. to EDWARDS FUNERAL SERVICE, 1166 Parsons Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
