Maggie Patterson Obituary

PATTERSON Sister Maggie L. Patterson (Edwards), formerly of London, Oh., was born August 22, 1941, to Theanuel and Viola Edwards in Vivian, West Virginia. She received her education at Kimball High School of West Virginia. She majored in Accounting and Business English. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a faithful member of Higher Ground Ministries and her Ministry was Ambassadors of Love Ministries. Sunday, February 24, 2008, Maggie (Patterson) Edwards was called to rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronnie Leon Edwards. Her loving memories will be cherished by her son, Gye (Monica) Edwards; her brothers, William B. Stone, Jr., Joseph T. Edwards, Sylvester Edwards, Theodore Edwards, Terry Edwards and Anthony Edwards; her sisters, Shirley Ann Smith, Sadie M. Patterson, Rosa Bell Shepard and Diana Lynn Jackson; granddaughter, Talia Bohanan; great-grandson, Armoni Dingess; a host of relatives and friends. Remains will rest in state after 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, Higher Ground Church, 870 St. Clair Ave. Family receiving friends until time of Homegoing Celebration honoring Sister Patterson 11 a.m. Right Rev. Sherman W. Watkins, Pastor. Elder Michael Pearson, Officiant. Interment will follow Eastlawn Cemetery. Direction BROOKS OWENS FUNERAL HOME, 235-0071.
