Marjorie Egger Obituary

Egger Marjorie Egger, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2013. Marjorie was born in Columbus, Ohio to Paul Peter and Sybilla (Brehl) Boehm. She married George W. Egger, raised eight children, and loved six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her youngest daughter, and her two brothers. Marjorie was a faithful member of the Catholic Church where she served as religious education instructor, choir member, and as Eucharistic minister. Raising eight children, Marjorie did not have a lot of free time, but she made every birthday special by making decorative birthday cakes and loved to crochet. A prayer service followed by visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at SUNSET FUNERAL HOME, Danville, Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marjorie Egger will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Paul's Church, Danville, Illinois. She will be laid to rest with her husband, George, in Danville National Cemetery immediately following Mass. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul's church (or have Masses read).
