Martha E. Koons

KOONS Martha E. Koons, age 93, went home to be with The LORD, September 19, 2011 at Kobacker House in Columbus, OH. She was born in Old Washington, OH.March 18, 1918. Martha was a graduate of the Grant School of Nursing and spent her later years as a private duty RN caring for people in their homes. Her passion in life was her love for ballroom dancing which she enjoyed into her mid eighties. Martha loved eating out with her family, especially the grandchildren. She is survived by five children, David (Hope) Koons, Diane Samadi, Dennis (Carol) Koons, Bruce (Debbie) Koons and Kathy Koons; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to Kobacker House, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH, 43224.
