Michael Vincent Izzie

IZZIE Michael Vincent Izzie, age 90, passed away on Monday, February, 28 2011 at First Community Village. Mike proudly served in the US Army and retired from the Jeffrey Mining Company after 41 years of dedicated service. Mike and was a member of the Flytown Club, St. Andrew Catholic Church and an avid Buckeye Football fan. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents Carmine and Giovanna, infant sons Thomas and James and son John, siblings Frank, Joseph, Anthony, Lucy, Katherine, Mary and Helen. Mike is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 69 years, Josephine; son, Michael; grandchildren, Amy, Benjamin and Zachary; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Thanks to all the staff at First Community Village, InCare and Active Day Care. Friends may call THURSDAY, March 3 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 5-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on FRIDAY, March 4 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
