Mildred Straub

STRAUB Mildred Straub, age 92, passed away June 29, 2005 at Grant Medical Center. Born to the late Herman and Sophia Pohle on April 14, 1913, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Straub, granddaughter, Lisa Renee Straub and two brothers, Norman and Melvin Pohle. She was a beloved lifelong resident of the southside of Columbus and former member of South United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. Edward J. Straub (Nancy) and daughter, Betty Jean Drennen (Terry); five grandchildren, David, Lori, Amy, Angela and Emily; six great-grandchildren; several cousins, nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m. Rev. Owen Stotts officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Mildred will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
