Nancy Reasoner Obituary

REASONER Nancy J. (Mitchell) Reasoner, 76, passed away Friday, April 1, 2005, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1929, in Marion and has been a life-long resident of Marion County. She was born, raised and lived virtually her entire life in the family farmhouse built by her grandfather in the 19th century. She was the daughter of Wayne and Ruth Mitchell, who, along with her brother Max, passed before her. Nancy was a 1947 graduate of Marion Harding High School. She attended the University of Colorado and graduated from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts. She retired from General Telephone and from the famous Rainbow Drive-In Restaurant in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Her life-long interests included playing cards, baking, knitting and her grandchildren, who loved her greatly and will sorely miss her. She is survived by five children and their families - Irl and Joan Reasoner of New Albany, Ohio and grandchildren Erick, Scott and Sally; Greg and Kim Reasoner of Marion, Ohio and grandchild Mitchill; Sue Reasoner of Marion, Ohio; Jill Reasoner of Marion, Ohio; and Karin (Reasoner) and Son Ho of New Albany, Ohio and grandchildren Alexander and Madison. Friends may call at DENZER-FARISON-HOTTINGER FUNERAL HOME at 360 East Center Street, Marion, Ohio on April 6, 2005, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on April 7, 2005, with burial at The Marion Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Marion General Hospital Foundation, 278 Barks Road West, Marion, Ohio 43302.
