Nancy Gosser Swigert

1932 - 2016

Swigert Nancy Gosser Swigert, of Worthington, passed peacefully away on December 12, 2016 after a long courageous journey with Alzheimer's. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 3, 1932. She was a longstanding member of the Worthington United Methodist Church and Worthington Chapter #287, Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of almost 36 years, Dr. William E. Swigert, Jr. Nancy was the kindest person you would ever meet. She was a wonderful loving mother of three children and Nana to four grandchildren, Deborah (Pete) Waitkus, grandchildren, Alec, Bailey and Victor; Karen (Wayne) Melton, granddaughter, Morgan (Kelvin), great grandson due March 5, 2017 Matthew Boapeah; Stephen Swigert. She would have been so excited to welcome her great grandson into the world. Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 20 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio 43085, where a Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Interment service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Coshocton Memory Gardens. Worthington Chapter OES will conduct an Eastern Star Service 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
