my poppa was the kindest man I have ever had the privelge to know. He was always a calming voice in the storm. He set the standard when it came to being a husband, father, and a man in general. Poppa will greatly be missed, but he will live forever in my heart. His words of wisdom have and will always keep me grounded because I know he would never steer me wrong. The world was truly a better place because of him and he will truly be missed by us all.

To our brother and Uncle Nathaniel E. Fitz, Jr.:

We will truly miss sharing treasured times with our loved one. However, as he makes his transition to be with our heavenly father, we take comfort in knowing that as we continue our lives on this Christian journey, we will all meet again someday. Until then, we, the family, must continue to “look to the hills from whence cometh our help ….” Psalms 121

To all of my cousins in the Nathaniel Fitz, Senior clan: I stop to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Nathaniel, Junior. The hardest thing we face in this world is coming to grips with the loss of a loved one; however, in the mainstream of logic, we have to conclude that passing was/is inevitable. I had a great deal of respect for Nathaniel, both as a relative and as a friend. As we mourn his passing, the overwhelming solace we can take is that God allowed him to remain with us well into the octegenarian era of life; and by any measure we use, that is a blessing.

Uncle "Nat" would have been proud of the way he lived his life, and for the longevity he received as a reward.

May God be with you all.
