I worked with Opal at the Women's Program at Maryhaven for a few years, and always found her to be a solidly good person. I was shocked a few years ago when I learned of her passing several months after it happened. I didn't know how to reach out to her family to offer belated condolences, but now that I know I can add them to her obituary, I am doing that. Although belated, my coldolesences are, none-the-less, heartfelt.

My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs Opal touched my life a few years ago as a CDC2, at The Maryhaven Womes Program. She will be surely missed, I'll always remember her because she gave me her coat off her back that I still wear today.

Funny how the time does fly.
No words can express the shock of Opal's passing. It's been awhile since we've seen her but the childhood memories and some that were shared in our adult lives will be surely cherished. (Considering how my late mother, late sister and late brothers would respond to her passing.) God's plan is sure and complete.
A loving and precious soul at rest. Praise the Lord our God Who is Jesus, the Christ of God and His children.
