Something reach out to us late and we are not there to share and to be a part of a family in which you have grown up with. What is important is to know the feelings I share with you in this time of loss. Pie was family, he was a friend, he was someone who always had a smile and a gentle voice. For it is through the son, he has gone home and waitng for him are those who have gone before him and await him with a smile and the joy of the coming.
He will be missed but more important is the fact,"he will be remembered". For this is the journey we live and take in life and in the home coming of death is just a transfer.
For when I think of PIE and when I remember PIE, his smile will be there. You know him as Owen to me he will always be PIE

Uncle Pie, you always made me smile with your kind words and you always made me laugh when you would show me & Ty Jr. tricks that you taught Sheeba. I always jumped in the car when my dad said he was going to your house. I'm going to miss visiting you. I try to understand why God took you away from our family, but I assume he needed another Angel. I love & miss you.

I am so sorry to hear of Owens death. We worked together for 30 years at Timken and he was such a fine man. Always happy to be fishing or hunting. Owen had so many friends and I know whereever he is he is happy.
