JIMMIE L. DELBRIDGE

JIMMIE L DELBRIDGE Jimmie L Delbridge, passed peacefully on October 16. Born August 17, 1960 he was a lifelong resident of Bayonne. A graduate of Bayonne High School he went on to graduate from Apex Technical School, and worked for Red Baron Roofing until he was no longer able to do so. Lovingly known as JD to many, he grew up playing basketball at the 20th street courts. Jimmie was willing to help others in any way that he could. His proudest joys were the births of his beautiful daughters, grandchildren and becoming the father to the son he never had. An avid Giants fan, his love for football was passed down to his oldest grandson whom he helped coach along the way. He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles A & Essie (Scott) Delbridge. Brothers: Charles & Abraham. Sisters: Pearlie Harris, Lorraine, Dorothy Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories children: Essence Rodriguez, Vanity Delbridge & Brian Baskerville. Grandchildren: Larenzo, Landyn & Lazir Jones. Siblings: Roosevelt , Earl, Al, Adolph & Jill, Daniel & Vonnie, Robert & Malinda Delbridge, Jannie Pugh, Kathleen Mosley, Juanita Williams & Lydia Delbridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Funeral Service Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Miracle Temple Church, 160-164 Monticello Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey, Visitation Saturday 8am to 9am at the church and Friday 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm at Jackson Funeral Residence, 384 Communipaw Avenue, J.C.
