Paul Lingo Obituary

Lingo Paul E. Lingo, age 87, passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on October 28, 2014. Faithful member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Groveport, Ohio. Paul was very active with the church and ushered the 8:30 Mass for many years. He was involved with the Forever Young Club and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Retired from Glidden Paint Co. Preceded in death by loving wife Katherine (Tarr) Lingo, brothers Jack and Robert Lingo, and both parents. Survived by step-daughter, Regina (Mira) Tarr; dear friends, Alfred Wagner, Maureen and Charles (Jake) Jajczyk; valued caregivers, Christopher Wharton and Jonathan Kahler; nephew, David and great-nephew, Bob (Ruth) Lingo. Paul was a gentle and loving man. He always tried to make people smile and he never forgot a face. He will be truly missed by all. Friends may call at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St., Groveport from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, November 2, with vigil service at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, 5684 Groveport Rd., Groveport. Father Richard Metzger, Celebrant. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Society of St. Vincent de Paul suggested.

I work at Canyon Eye Associates, and we are all heartbroken to learn of Paul's passing. He was one of a kind and his girls here will truly miss him.

Gina, So sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I enjoyed working with Paul at Glidden's Paint for a few years. He was a kind wonderful and fun loving guy. He will be missed. I know Kathy was there waiting for him with her big smile on her face. Now they'll be together baking her delicious cookies for all the angels. Keeping you in Prayer. Tonya & Douglas Crouch
