Hey grandma, where has time gone. It feels like yesterday you were here with me giving me an ice cream sandwich and watching me dance to Hannah Montana. It´s crazy to look at the picture of you holding me as a little girl and here I am that little girl is all grown up and resembles you in every way. I miss you so much. I wish you could still be here to see all I´ve accomplished in life because you´re who I do it all for. My memories will never let you out of them no matter how little I was I remember all the great times we had. I think about you everyday and what you´d say to me when I need comfort. I hope you know how missed you are grandma. I love you so much and I can´t wait to see you again someday. I know you´re always with me but I wish I could feel your hugs or see you smile and definitely just hear your voice once more. I´m 18 now grandma, I moved out and I´m living on my own now. I got my first car and had my first job but I couldn´t do any of that without thinking of you first. You´re my role model you always were and always will be. I have the biggest smile in my heart when family tells me when I do something you did or when I write like you, look like you, talk like you, and think like you did. But I know when I´m told those things that´s you being with me every step of the way guiding me. I know your still here in our hearts grandma. You´ll forever be in mine. I love you unconditionally and infinitely. ~ your loving grandchild Kaylee rose

I hope that you will soon be able to find peace with this truly hard time that you are experiencing Gabe... knowing that your Mom can now be there for you more than she was in life... she is always at your side now to see you through it all. I am very glad for the support you have in your wife and I want you to know that you are continuously in my prayers and if there is anything I could do to ease this pain for you and your family I am there for you. Know that she is at peace... she is in a place where she can watch over you as she waits to see you again.

Gabe,

Oh Gabe, I can never express how sorry I am for the passing of your mom. Paula was such an amazing mom. I know she loved you more then you will ever know. I will be here for you always to support, lean on, cry on scream to if you need to, I will ALWAYS be here for you. I hope that God will help your spirit mend and give you inner peace to know that she is in a much better place. She is happy running around heaven, laughing, making crafts, taking care of our angels. They needed her there. Our angels did. I love you and I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers every night.

This is something you have already seen but it reminds me of her.

A Better Place

She’s in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.

It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.

We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.

A Conversation With God

Once upon a soul where angels gathered near,
To protect a mere mortal with a love so dear.
They watched carefully felt the pain and trials,
Touched the heart with joy and heartwarming smiles.

Each time the soul near fell in the deepest darkest despair,
The angels reached the soul and brightness it ensnared.
They could not let it stumble they could not let it fall,
For it was Gods chosen, destined for a golden halo.

Soon the soul began to suffer the pain became to much,
Everyone loved this soul, the brightest ray for the hearts touch.
Tears from all; they wept to see her soul fall,
But from the Heavens above God wept the the most tears of all.

"A rainbow of tears, why do you weep so?
Her soul is mine and on her head rests a golden halo.
She is my daughter you had her for so long,
And now it is time for her to come home."

"Her pain will be released , more joy that can be known,
Her earthly worries far away, her sickness will be gone.
Stay your tears weep not for your dear mother,
She is now the lamb of God and I too love her."

"But God how can we let her go? She has brightened so many hearts,
Without her strength my world will slowly fall apart.
I cannot stand to see her pain, yet how can I say good-bye?
My darling child, she's now resting with the angels up high."

"You will carry her memory throughout your days and think of the love
she bore for you,
And often will you know she will be an angel too.
She will be by your side to catch you when you fall,
Now, tomorrow, and evermore, till it's your name that I call."

"She's at peace now, her long awaited journey is near,
Carry no sorrow, weep not your flow of tears,
For now she is in Heaven resting with me,
And now this wonderful soul has been set free."

In loving memory

Ryan, Dale and Leella,

I was so sad when I heard about Paula. It came as a shock to me. My heart aches for all of you guys right now. What I do remember of Paula is all wonderful memories. She was a wonderful woman. From the day I met her, she accepted me and all of my flaws. She had one of the funniest personalities. She was also very gullible when Gabe would joke with her. Paula will be missed tremendously. I have to keep faith in God to pull us all through this. You guys will all be in my prayers and I hope that God will fill your homes with peace. I wanted to share with you the poem that I had gotten Paula when I had just gotten married to Gabe.

To My New Mother-In-Law

To my "new Mom"
That seems strange to say
But you made me feel welcome
From the very first day.

When I first met your son
It was "love at first sight"
From the very beginning
We knew it was right.

So I thank you for him
And our God up above
For changing my life
And showing me love.

From the start you have been
So gracious and kind
A family like yours
Is not easy to find.

So once again, Thanks
For the gift of your son
I can tell how you raised him
by the man he's become.

This poem reminded me of Paula so much for being such a wonderful, caring person. I loved her so much and could have never asked for a better mother-in-law.

Here is a poem that I wanted to dedicate to you. I love you guys and are here if there is anything that I can do.

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

Dale,

I was so saddened to hear of Paulette's passing. She was an incredible woman with such a keen sense of humor and her laughter could warm any heart. I know she loved all you so very much and she will be missed. My prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Paulette was a one in a million special lady. My life was blessed in knowing her. I know she was devoted to you, her children and her grandchildren. She will be missed and the world was a better place for her having been here. My deepest sympathy to all of you and may she rest in peace in the loving arms of God.
