I met Phil working as his assistant at Eastmoor High School. He worked us hard, but we never complained, because he always outworked us. Phil became a great friend and mentor. He went out of his way to help me personally and professionally. My life has been so enriched by knowing Phil. He will be greatly missed. Phil was an exceptional man.
