Dear Cindy and family,
I never like the reason of Alzheimer's disease for our meeting wonderful individuals like you and Bob...we are however grateful for knowing such a kind, compassionate, witty, and warm man such as your husband and partner Bob! Oh Yes - an such a fantastic smile he always greeted me with!
I have so many fond memories of you both while getting to know you through our Early Stage Programs, our Walks, etc. Most of all I have been inspired by both your's and Bob's courage, advocacy, and willingness to bring awareness to how this disease affected you both (and your families) and therefore millions of others too. I pray for a day when there will be no more Alzheimer's or related dementia's! Thank you for the honor to walk alongside you both during this time in your lives.
I hope you find peace and grace in the knowledge of being a wonderful partner and loving memories of Bob and your life together lift your (and family's) spirit going forward.

I first met Bob at Sawmill Athletic Club and we played racquetball. Then we started playing golf and tennis, Bob was a very good athlete and a great person to be around.
If I or a family member ever had back or neck problems, Bob was always available to help. I coached his son Brian in little league Baseball and Bob and Cindy were always there to cheer our team on. I remember taking Bob water skiing and he loved it and soon got a boat and a jet ski. I know that Bob never drank or smoked and worked out very hard, and was shocked to learn when he had early onset Alzheimer's. I am sure he is in a better place now.
